123gr Amax's and Varget, winner. Have some H414 to try out, and some 140gr Amax's.

Got a few small batches cooked up already, I'll see how they shoot tomorrow.

140's ran fine, can't comment on the accuracy due to my back-up scope wandering about (guess the .50Beo did more damage to it than I originally thought).

No real pressure signs until 42gr H414, had 2 that flattened out (CCI LRP). COL was 2.800" and 2.815".

Going to try some of the FGMM primers and go thru my charge ladder again.

Good info here... I have worked up a load for my .260 that works well:
    -44gr H4350
    -130gr Norma Golden Target
    -Remington brass
    -Federal Match primers

Having said that, Nosler is coming out with a 142gr Spitzer that is quoted to have a .719 BC... Holy Moly! Can't wait to try them in the .260.

I missed the boat, had a chance to snag some H4350 - hesitated, by the time I went back to the site it was all gone.

    .719?!? Oh my...

    Me either...... :-)

Brad...BTW, I'm super happy with my SWFA 10x for $300. I want a variable for later but don't want to put the cash out on something really nice till I know I want to play the precision rifle game for sure..... I am kicking myself as well, for not buying more Lapua brass while it was available....... I feel kinda helpless only having 100 pcs of brass for that gun(not counting the 20 from the Fusion) :-) I have issues.....

I necked up 100 pieces of 243, necked down some 7mm-08 and 308, and have about 140 or so pieces of factory 260 (less than 50 are Lapua though) - so I have a little bit of brass, but not as much as I'd like.

Honestly, I'm just going to take a break for a while. Seem to be slightly cursed lately, so maybe some time off may be a good thing.

Ive been thinking about necking down some .308 since I have a crap-ton... Wondering if it's worth it.

I have had that scope since the start of my long-range career. It is a great scope and I have had mine out to 1260yds with good results on my .308. Not the best but a great scopefor the money. I still have it and run it on a .223.

Reran the 140gr Amax's and H414, rifle seems to do well with those and a 41.8gr charge, COL of 2.800" - turns out my backup scope isn't trashed, it was just knocked loose in the mount from the time on the .50Beo.

Had a pretty decent 9 shot group going, think the 140's may be a option for when the time comes to stretch it's legs some.

    What grain pill?

I'm playing around with H414 myself, similar velocities to H4350 - I missed out on getting some H4350.

Noticed some of my cases were getting sticky on extraction - even though there were no signs of high/excessive pressure, so I'm trying my hand at annealing. Thinking the necks became too work-hardened and didn't spring back.

I'm using my once fired Lapua brass as a visual aide in the process, and so far the 10 cases I've done look damn near spot-on to the Lapua's.

I'll load them, and if they work - great. If not, I'm not going to lose sleep over 10 cases (as long as they don't somehow blow up my rifle).
