I love mine. Shoot it with the sparrow or prodigy. Both shoot great with little poi change. It is hard to put back together but it's getting easier with repeated tear downs.

Heading out now to shoot it before it gets dark.

My father has one, 100% reliable very good gun. If it wasn't for this HQL business I would get a lite model.

Don't let the HQL get you down. Yes it's money I would have rather spent on other things and I could complain about it all day but, I didn't want to be in a position where I couldn't buy something because I didn't have it. While you're at it get the designated collector so you can buy as many as you'd like! :party29:

I got a good deal on a 22/45 lite and an AAC Pilot 2 suppressor from Maryland Quartermaster on Main Street in Bel Air. Haven't gotten the stamp back for the suppressor yet but the pistol, like all Rugers, runs like a champ. Now if I can just find some .22 LR.

Picking one of these up from Purgatory tomorrow from 2A. Got the can last week, it's like Christmas Eve for me tonight.....:D

Sweet! I am going to stop by my local store and see if they have one this weekend if I get a chance.

Here is a pic of my current setup.

    Uuuhhhh.

A current 22/45 IS a Mk III, but with a different grip frame.

And if you don't have a threaded one, you can have a gunsmith (John at Duffy's has just finished mine) thread it. I had it cut back 1/2 inch, threaded and sight replaced.

After paying the stupidly low price that Lou had for it, I am still ahead of the game on money spent.

I didnt realize Duffy's does threading work. I was going to send my 22/45 and 10/22 barrels to ADCO to have them threaded (22/45 sight repositioned) but will now call the crew at Duffys to get more info. Thanks for the tip! :party29:

    Love mine..

Has all the upgrades, trigger-mag drop bushing- great shooter.
Once you have shot 200+ rounds the take down for cleaning gets easier. Just added the SureFire Ryder 22A...

They look like a cool little setup for a supressor, especially their "lite" models...I know they're no mkiii but what's the general consensus?

actually, they basically are a MK III

But to answer your question, they are awesome, and the lite is MEGA AWESOME. As long as the barrel sleeve is torques properly theose things are freaking tack drivers.

The SR-22 is also a winner in my book, much more accurate than it has any right to be. There's a guy called .22 plinkster on youtube who has used his to shoot pennies at 75 yards.
