You can get a Marlin Camp carbine in .45. I have heard great things about these carbines but they don't make them anymore and due to demand they seem to go for quite a bit.

This is a system that coverts your Glock 21 (.45 cal) to a rifle system that can assembled without an ATF tax stamp because the barrel meets the Over All Length.

And don't forget a Kriss Vector system in .45. One was offered right here on the MDS classifieds a little while back.

Beretta 45 , Vector, and HK USC.45 Carbines are nice.

Auto Ordnance and Mech-Tech Conversions are junk IMO.

Camp .45 are nice but QUALITY parts are not as easy to come by anymore and they are not easy guns to service.

JR Carbines are not bad BUT thye don't run well with a can from the increased blowback.

Hi Point makes some really decent guns for being so affordable but they are nothing special.

Overall, a slow fat round like .45 out of a rifle barrel is like taking a real fat girl to the Senior Prom--you have a date for the big dance but you won't necessarily enjoy what you get from the experience.

There are MP5 clones in 45ACP.
More than one lever gun has been converted too.

i had a hk usc for a short time. the trigger absolutely sucked, and only 10 round mags. I realize you could spend some dough and convert to UMP.

I came to the conclusion that if I could get an AR/.223/5.56 in that size, why would I want a pistol caliber gun in that size.
