Thanks. Sent him a PM. Will see what he says. I really only need the upper and was wondering if they are full auto rated.

    Dave

An upper off of a 15/22 will not work on a forged mil-spec lower. In the case of the 15/22 it's the whole gun or nothing.

Check out the manufacturer and see if they offer only the upper: http://www.innovativearms.com/contact.html

Otherwise, Tac-Sol might have an integrally suppressed upper. If not, they have plenty of complete 22LR uppers (Engage has some now) and cans like the SS Sparrow are full auto rated for 22LR.

That was going to be my suggestion. We have the Tac-Sol AR-SBX on sale for $500 cash/check and you can mate it to any 22 suppressor you want. We have Pilot 2s, Elelment 2s, and one Sparrow in stock at the moment.

Here's mine on a registered receiver. Lots of fun in full auto. :) This integral upper is a copy of a design done by John Norrell. The silencer is about 12" long and 1.5" in diameter. Unfortunately, the 07 that built it is no longer in business.

That's badass. How much does something like that run?

I bought the integral upper from an SOT who had it sitting in his safe for about 10 years. He told me that he really just wanted to get it off his books. I paid $375 shipped. :D

The can is removeable (and serviceable) and must be used on a registered SBR lower of M16 lower. I use a Ceiner 22 kit with the full auto trip.

    Nice scope!

Getting a custom one of these built as I cannot find one for sale. It will cost a bit more than what rsideout paid but, what the hey, you only live once.

I am considering putting it on a left handed upper. Not sure yet. Might leave it righty for now and swap it to left later.

Here are the Specs so far:

Custom Integral Suppressor by Innovative Arms (heard a lot of good things about these folks)
    - 11" long
    - 1.5" wide
    - Stainless Steel Mono-core baffle
    - Alum or SS outside tube (whichever Manufacturer recommends)
    - Full Auto Rated
    - User serviceable

    - Hogue Ridged carbine Length Free Float hand guard

    - Standard AR flat top upper

    - CMMG 22 LR Conversion bolt

    - CMMG Collar for dedicated 22LR barrel

    - CMMG 22LR 4.5" dedicated 22LR barrel

    - CMMG 22LR Conversion sear trip and weight for full auto

    - BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 charging handle

    - Sight - Not determined yet

So is an 11" inch integral suppressor ALSO an SBR?

    Good question, not sure.

I would think only the suppressor, that unscrews from the upper, would be the only item that is serialized and thus the only thing subject to NFA. Of course you cannot use the upper unless it is on an SBR. Not sure though.

Will need to look at the Form 4 I did for my LRM169 9mm Integral Suppressed upper but, I think I only did one Form 4 for it (the suppressor).

Well parts are off to Innovative Arms for the build. Was told it would only take a couple of days. Cant wait to see the final product. Of course I need to get it out of BATFE hock before I can play with it.

Dave, I currently have a 10-22 takedown at Innovative for an integral suppressor. Can't wait to get it back. Planning on sending them parts for a 9mm integral build. Need to pick out parts first.
