    preference only to be honest

Well, also a lot of suppressor manufacturers will only warranty their cans if they're used on at least a 10.5" barrel, so if there's ever a thought of suppressing it that comes in to play.

I ended ordering magpul mbus pros. Paid a little more than I expected. Psa didnt have the sale going anymore so the next best thing is amazon.

That's a bummer you didn't catch that sale in time. What do you think of the mbus pro's?

Those are actually pretty cool lookin' with those braces on 'em. Anything beats that bare buffer tube look.

Okay, very nice, so what is the process after you build one of these? Is it a Pistol? Or SBR? NFA Registration? Handgun Roster? Maybe need to put a Directions/Procedures Section or something, so "amateurs" won’t ask the How To questions, constantly. AS far as the first Beowolf Video they stand awfully close to the Targets with a Red Dot.

Pistol, as long as you stay with the Sig Brace.

If you put a stock on it, it becomes an SBR, and subject to NFA provisions.

The good news is, with a Trust, Form 1s for making an SBR have been coming back in about 3 weeks. :)

I'm working on that, actually. I started it and it's rapidly turning into a novel, but it'll be up soon. My ideas was a complete "So you want to buy an AR15 in Maryland" guide that will cover rifle, pistol, and SBR, either buying or building.

    :wtf:

How come those are turning around so quick, where it's taking everybody else 6 months or better?

Just what started happening a month or so ago.

I have heard they brought back some 15 retied examiners and hired a bunch of new ones. The retired ones are teaching the new ones on the system, and they are actually processing real submittals for traing.

But only applies to eForms. Paper forms are still taking a while.

However, on another forum, I have heard that paper Form 4s are coming back 5 -7 months versus the previous 8 - 9 months.

New member here. Looking to build my first AR pistol.

I've decided to go with a Spike Tactical lower, with their enhanced lower parts kit.

What barrels would you all recommend? I want to go with a 10.5'ish length.
    And what upper receiver?
Keeping in mind cost is a factor.

Also, is there any other LPK you all would recommend other than the Spikes that would cost around the same price with trigger group? Ideally I'd like to have a two stage trigger, and the Spikes has a single stage
