    question to the group,
I came across an opportunity to help out friends of a co worker, I bought all of there guns..
I have a few .22's some in need of repair, or restoration..

would you , restore them ( sand down the stock / refinish, re-blue )
or just dis-assemble, clean, and get in good shooting order,

    I have
    Marlin model 80
    Savage model 3
    Sears ( automatic )
    Western Auto lever action

I think I have to wait until I get 50 posts though to post pics

I have similar plans for the 22's

It's just a kinetitech barrel shroud. I don't have a suppressor for it yet and I like the look. In the process of getting a sparrow.

If you can't make Rifleman with that barrel ... give up :):);)

My last practice session, missed Distinguished by 6 points. Shot a 234. Cleared Redcoats and got Morgan's Shingle. :)

Punisher, Appleseed allows scopes as well.

    Very nice.

Doesn't appear to have much pitting from the pics, cleaned up pretty well from what I can see.

This is how it started. It thinned out the bluing when getting the rust off but its much better than it was. It was grey with that rough pitting on it when i bought it. I knew id get most off. you can see some evidence around the area where it says Mossberg 144 in the last post.

I put the green and red buttons in, but unfortunately i cracked the damn green one.:banghead: Im just going to leave it, i dont see a need to drill out the other and put another one in.
