DTA SRS Covert with a 308 barrel from Short Action Customs and a TBAC 30BA silencer. I also have a 26" 260 barrel.

That is badass. Very nice set up. I always thought that was an uber cool design. I followed that design thread on the Hide for quite some time as they developed those rifles. Good stuff.

    Here's my humble contribution:

    Savage 10 P-SR 5R
    Darkeagle Custom 10 round mag
    Darkeagle Custom extended mag release
Black River Tactical Covert linear compensator
    EGW 0MOA rail
    Caldwell Pivot bipod

Due to some financial uncertainty (wife losing her job) I am holding off buying the glass I want and just slapped on a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 and cheap Vortex rings I had for another project.

I am very impressed with the Darkeagle products. The magazine functions beautifully and was well worth the wait and the mag release works great. Not to mention Dan is a great guy with which to deal.

    Thanks!

I like the Vortex fine, although I don't really have much of anythingto compare it to. The glass seems clear and the turrets are solid with positive clicks. The FOV seems narrow, but functional.

I have yet to shoot it with the Darkeagle mag, but during function testing it feeds and extracts perfectly. I have tested it with A-Zooms, 175gr OTM rounds and 147 FMJ rounds. The magazine is very solid, almost to the point of being heavy and it fits nice and tight into the magwell. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with a few more of them. :D

How do Darkeagles compare to Sharpshooter Supplies mags?

Its got a LEFT side charging handle that wraps back to become a straight pull. I can have it semi auto with a gas block on or take it off for straight pull.

I'll be nice because it is your first post (and second and third) but you should notice the topic is "Official Precision Bolt Gun Picture Thread".....

Maybe you should read his post before assuming things. Hint: pay attention to the part where he says it's a straight pull.

Thanks armed ferret, and yes i said its CAN be semi auto but currently is not. Its a straight pull. You shoot, pull the charging handle to rechamber the next round. And to please you with a "real" bolt gun since my ar is a pretend bolt gun.
