Crabs I do not know where you are but if you are in the Harford county area I can can give you a hand also. I know Chad won't approve but I bought the Rainier Barrel dimpler for Vltor set screw gas blocks. I do have all the tools needed to put an AR together including vise blocks.

First build, Phase 5 Pistol Buffer is on its way and I am going to order a YHM 7" diamond rail and AAC Blackout 51t to cap it all off. Hope to eventually SBR and suppress it inside a 12" Seekins BAR.

Definitely channeling my inner Han Solo as is...

Just have to do all the pesky hard parts of the build now :(

Why not go with the Seekins BAR...it's lighter, and will keep the cool look going!!

    From JoeBobOutfitters.com

LAR Grizzly 22LR Terminator Side Charge Upper (about the cost of an S&W M&P 15-22)

New Frontier Armory LW-15 GENII Complete AR15 Polymer Lower

The $30 Cabelas blackpowder scope 3-9X40 is likely there temporarily.

I had to file down the top of the lower in one place since the upper has a bolt that leans against the top of the buffer tube housing.

True story, the rail is the only thing that has given me any difficulty in selection. I still might grab the 9" BAR.... Everything else just clicked, grr!

I have a 9" Spikes BAR that I have been considering changing out for a 7" Spikes/seekins BAR, only because my barrel is 7.5" AND I don't feel like disassembling the upper to change out the rail. If you find a 7" BAR but prefer a 9", and you're interested MAYBE we can work a trade?

Now I just need a lightweight rail and an aimpoint. I installed a BAD lever after I took the pic.

I think I am going to take my aimpoint T-1 off my other rifle and put it on the BCM and my old rifle will get a aimpoint PRO as a replacement.

Trigger is a Geissele SSA, charging handle is a BCM Gunfighter MOD 4. I have shot the upper quite a bit but just got the lower in last week! :party29:

From what i have been able to tell, the Centurion rails are one of the lighter quad rails on the market at present. I think they only way to get lighter is one of the modular rail systems.
