I went to a range/gun shop and seen it sitting there, was a decent price for a normal Turkish mauser, but obviously this one was not the typical Turk.. If you notice it looks somewhat like the wz29 polish mauser i posted a month or so ago as it has the same style front sight. anyway here is some pics.. enjoy.. And yes the Blue is as nice as it looks although the pics are not my best.

 well the Tipton was new for Christmas so when its nicer out ill find something to put it on in a better area of the yard till i find the new "bench"

Come spring I'll start saving some tree limbs and build a Garrett County version of the old bench. :D The Tipton looks like a great Christmas present!

The Turk is a 38/46 carbine in amazing condition. Here's some info on them: http://www.turkmauser.com/rifles/JoeS/38_46.aspx. I picked one up from a GB auction a few years ago and restored it, but it's no where near as nice as yours. I like how they shoot and the turned down bolt handle adds some elegance over the straight handle. More than one way to add a sling too.

Some of us are going to the range tomorrow. Seeing your new one made me pull mine out for some play time and pics. :)

Very nice man. I see they are fairly scarce, glad to see I'm not the only guy here with one.
