Yamamoto Arms Auto pointer?

Hey gang,
I saw a Yamamoto Arms Auto pointer today in 20 gauge 28" vent rib with a modified choke. Seemed to be in very good condition and they were asking $450.00 for it. I believe this is the same company that makes the Japanese Brownings. It's clearly an A-5 although not quite as pretty. Any input if this is a good price? I figured a Browning historian could help!

It is an A5 clone at least by design, I don't know if any parts will actually interchange. There have been several A-5 clones out of Japan over the years, Herters imported one in the 60's and Diawa of fishing reel fame made one as well.
I wouldnt assume any interchanging parts, basically the patents expired so anyone who wanted to could make one, think 1911

I thought it was too good to be true! I assume the remington clones are better? Since they were made under the browning patent?

The Remington clones are great but they wont interchange with a Browning (unless it is an early postwar Browning, they were Remingtons with the Browning name on them)
The Brownings are metric and the Remingtons are inches...
