WTH is the chimp shooting?

OK, apologies in advance. I stumbled across this video while looking for this song, and I have no freaking idea what kind of pistol the chimp is shooting? (I also have no idea how this video got over 5 million hits, though I did bust out laughing the first time the Glock(?) wielding Chimp appeared at 1:09. )

Anyone have any idea what the pistol is? Its stupid, but this is gonna bother me till I figure it out. lol

Thats what I thought, but I'm not a pistol guy. No idea how this stupid video got 5,000,000+ hits. It makes no sense, but then neither do the lyrics to the song. It's got a nice beat though.

hmmm. The slide release isn't big enough is it? The pics I pulled up for the Ruger showed a long slide release, the chimp's gun has a small button. (at least it looks like it)

Edit: Now i'm not sure, what looks like the slide release button is moving with the slide, so that cant be what it is.

Edit2: Just realized that the cycling gun isn't real (I think). Looks like someone animated a static photo. So now i have no fraking idea.

It's a Gen 1 or 2 compact Glock. No way of telling the caliber, so I can't be any more specific on the actual model.

I was using that chimp as my avatar for a while. At least until his agent & Lawyer sent me a cease and desist letter. Sheesh - some simians just have no sense of humor...

Eh. I see where you're coming from; but its just a song. Its more about some anti-social kid in my view, the gun is secondary. It wouldn't sound as good to say "you better run, run, run; faster than my knife (club, bow, etc)".

An Emo kid whinning? {Gasp!} Unheard of! Though from the pics of the group, they aren't emo. They look just like three regular twenty somethings.

I was more concerned about identifying the gun the chimp was shooting; rather than getting into a big back-and-forth about song lyrics. (which are very disjointed) The concensous seems to be that it is an early generation Glock. So thanks to everyone for letting me inflict this video on you.
