No thankfully for me I haven't had to see such visual horror recently
That's always a good thing.
I still remember the look on the peoples faces that were inside - priceless.

@DCPoliceDept: 3D Robbery/18th St & Florida Ave NW/LOF 10-15 B/M's and 10 females
20-25 people robbing someone?
They won't get too much once they split it up.

“It represents a change in what's going on out here on the streets that we have a group of people who are specifically looking to target, kidnap and sexually assault men. That is a very, very profound event and it’s a change in what we're used to investigating,” said Delroy Burton, President of the D.C. Police Union.

Illegal firearms. 130 guns in 30 days. 10 this weekend. Chief Lanier and mayor want federal prosecutions, upon being asked

If you're not going to follow the law, We want the full weight of the law to be followed on every case - mayor Bowser.

"We are seeing far too many repeat violent offenders." - chief Lanier
Duh
What a joke. They find an Uzi, the crime rate is up, and now all of the sudden they want to enforce the law. If the people didn't plead their charges away in the first place, they'd still be in jail.

Hahahaha the Uzi was all jason and some DAMN good police work!
Good for him. Even better that he turned it in!
My buddy chased a guy back into a house one time and the guy ran to a bedroom closet and grabbed a shoe box. He was tackled before he could get the Mac 10 out of it.
Didn't something like this happen last year as well?here's your happy thought for the day
Man forced into van, sexually assaulted by group
you can say that again Delroy.
Lanier described the shooting at a news conference and released two surveillance videos, one of which captured a portion of the Saturday afternoon shootout in which guns were fired from sidewalks on both sides of Seventh and S streets NW and at a stolen burgundy Chrysler 300 that was recovered with bullet holes.
The gunman ran up Georgia Avenue, shooting along the way. Struck in the back, the 33-year-old victim collapsed in front of a Metrobus. A witness on the bus told police the assailant “stood over him and shot him two more times.”

Armed crimes are increasing in DC and nationally. from 1993-2014 the US gun homicide rate fell a whopping 65%, to the lowest level in 100 years, and likely lowest level in all of US history.honestly very rare. In the 10 years I've worked in DC these are the only 2 daytime armed crimes I heard about (unless the DC Alert system doesn't send the email out) . There is always at least 4 or 5 police agencies prowling about .
