WTB Glock 21 SF - any in stock?

I think I have decided on my next gun - a Glock 21 SF. I intend to buy a 10mm upper assembly (LWD long slide, spring, comp and 6 incher) for 10mm to put on the gun too; I think I can coax all of that out the wifey for my birthday =) =)

I'd like to see how it feels though. I don't want to buy one without seeing how the SF feels in my hand. Regular Glocks are a bit chunky for my hands.

I wasn't aware you *could* put a 10mm auto slide on a G21 frame ... is this true? I have a standard G21 (non-SF).

wondering that one myself?? 40 to 357 is usually a barrel but this one sounds off

They are the same frame - you just need the 10mm slide and barrel... and I personally intend to use a beefier spring on the 20 set up.

CO Steve explains it the most completely. You can also get drop in barrels to convert it to 9x25 which is a necked down 10mm.

I want to do the same thing. Duffy's (Sparks, MD off Black Rock Road in Balt. Co) had a 20SF in stock a couple of weeks ago...was all I could do to walk out of there without starting the paperwork...

Doing the whole slide/barrel/spring (and of course, mag) should work. I hear you can just do a barrel too, but I would expect some failures. Haven't done much research on that.

On Target had one I handled there on Tuesday after I was in the range. I didn't catch the price tag. I liked how it felt... it's on my "want list" now. XDM45, G21SF are probably the next two toys for my collection.
