I get why the reciever, pistol and SBR configurations are MD legal. Can you explain why the rifle would be?

Maryland State Police reviewed weapon AK-74 and determined "not banned" and listed as such on their web site that evaluates rifles. All that would matter to me for transfer.

Don't see either as being evaluated by MSP. Both are select fire from what I have seen. If only that variant available then NFA covered weapon.

Arsenal SLR-104s are legal in Maryland. If you can find one. Explicitly listed as such on the MSP website.

Also, echoing what everyone else has already said, if it's 5.45, it's kosher with MSP.
