Women On Target Pistol Event - 10/24/15

I am posting this on behalf of Meade Rifle and Pistol Club

As I’m sure you are probably aware, men who participate in shooting sports outnumber women who do by a large margin. But women traditionally have greater influence on the family. Increasing firearm knowledge among women will go a long way toward changing the overall perception of firearms in our communities. The NRA Women On Target® program aims to do just that. (“Aims” - ha! See what I did there? )




Women On Target®Instructional Shooting Clinics create more opportunities for women to learn about firearms, and to gain confidence in newly-acquired shooting skills. The clinics are staffed with all volunteer instructors and range coaches.


The Meade Rifle and Pistol Club is sponsoring an NRA Women On Target® clinic to be held at

Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore in Marriottsville

Saturday, 24 October 2015.

Mike, I echo your comments. I recruited a Home Depot sales clerk yesterday for the Women on Target events. I gave her some contact information and hopefully she will show up at a future class. Cheers.
