Anyone else get a backorder notification from Brownells? I had bought during the first few min in the first round before they went down and back in stock later. This is frustrating an very misleading on their part.

Don't be surprised if you get a "Out Of Stock" and "Backorder" notice later. This happens all the time with Brownells.. Even if you get a confirmation email.

Got notification today that it is on backorder.. must've been a system foul up or something.

Talked with customer service. They said they only got 30 in stock but were expecting more so it broke the system. Got about 1100 orders she said.

Said more should be arriving in March.

Well my order has a status of "IS BEING HELD
** HELD WEB ORDER **"

Which means it is being held in the queue for a backorder email I'm thinking..

I called and canceled mine. I had also checked the option to cancel the order if it was not in stock. It still put them on backorder.

Mine changed to HAS BEEN SHIPPED, but when I click on the order to view it says :
