Who says firearms are banned in the UK?

A friend of mine from England shot this today in the Forest of Dean. Almost 60 kilos or 120 lb. Used a 243.

Don't think they are outlawed but I know much harder to obtain/keep.
Did the gun belong to a hunting club?

Handguns were effectively banned. Hunting type long guns are not difficult to own. Oddly enough pump shotguns are believed to be a tool of the devil.

You can understand why guns are hard to get there, look at the history of the last time guns where allowed and they got their asses handed to them.

This is a country where it is a criminal offense to silently pray across the street from an abortion clinic. They wanted to ban knives recently in London. Much of the western world is the same. The Dutch government (at the behest of the EU) pushing to eviscerate their farming industry, among the most productive in the world on behalf of the Green agenda.

Ironically it is super easy to hunt with a silencer there. I guess they understand the benefit of diminishing loud noises.

I have hunted England for Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer. Used a 243 supplied bythe outfitters. I follow the firearm situation there. You know when a gun crime is committed in a area. The cops can come and take your guns without cause. Hell getting them back. Here is a crazy situation
A group of hunters pigeon shooting with permission and Farmer was on site. Permit’s everything legal. A complaint was made cops came full gear and stopped the hunt and took all shotguns.
