    HI-POINT pistols usually show up in these "you'd be surprised videos". They often win. Just don't expect them to function properly when you compete in an action shooting tournament or similar situation.

    Hi Points have a place for people who can't afford more expensive guns. I tested their 9mm carbine at AGC 30 years ago and allowed anyone there to shoot it as well. I was able to shoot 1 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards off my elbows with no failures. Since I used to sell them at the time, I used my target as one of the selling points.

    Their pistols, while functional, were bricks from an ergonomic standpoint but they shot will and didn't have too many issues that I recall.
