Another vote for the SandW 422 line. Great guns. BUT!! S and W K-22 Masterpiece, the older the better. Everybody that shoots rimfires should own one once.

Finally took my m&p 22 to the range. Was fun and didn't feel as bad going through so much .22 compared to .45.

I've got a lot and shot a lot of .22 pistols. My current favorite "have fun at the range" gun is the M&P22. It eats anything and its full size frame makes it a very easy to shoot gun.

I like the ergonomics of the Ruger SR22 but the long trigger pull /release kills it for me. Fix that, I'd love it too.

I've had a GSG1911 for a couple years now, and while initially having very good luck with it, it's been less than stellar in reliability in the last few months. It needs a hotter load to run than the M&P22 which hurts using it in conjunction with a suppressor.

Nothing wrong with another 22/45. That gun still fits into to the category of the classic 22 designs where I prefer the newer designs that better match the feel of "real" handguns.

I love my M&P22, well worth the money.

    .
SR22 - eats everything and is fun as well as doubling as a pocket pistol.
Single Six - lasts forever, has good accuracy, convertible, and it's a wheelie!
SP101 - single six but with double action and faster reloading. Speed-beez loaders!
