Last chance to play is today.

If you've got a picture for submission, get 'er done.

The brain trust will meet tonight to select a winner.

Here I am sporting the MDShooters gang colors in front of the Bellagio fountains in Vegas two weeks ago. This is the day we flew in so it was about 2am my time which at least partially explains the lethargic look (the beers might have had something to do with it too LOL)

Yes. I'll announce it this afternoon.

Sorry all, the end of last week kicked my ass with a couple of surprises and then I was off grid all weekend.

Announcing the winner of the Maryland Shooters Summer Photo Contest.............................

After a meeting of the minds....(ok, well it was really DD214, Spot77 and I) the judges have come to a unanimous decision (well, it wasn't really, but being that I'm bigger and meaner than either of them they had to go along).

    The winner is:

Our drunken ponderer extraordinaire....smokey0118....for his submission that so perfectly sums up most of our feelings.

For his prize, smokey0118 gets the Matt Bracken signed trilogy and the shiniest Silver American Eagle I have.

    D*MN!!!! :D

We'll have another contest dreamed up soon.

The real contest is going to be at the November 15th shoot. I don't want to steal Spot77's thunder, but he's put together some amazing things for that day thanks to the generosity of our industry partners here on the the forum.

If it's anything like his last "contest", I want no part of it. I can't afford more counseling.

I never knew one guy could frighten so many sheep.
