I'll keep it simple, I am not proposing a violent rebellion, but at what point do we, as law abiding citizens, say, enough?!?!?!?! At what point do we say, go ahead, pass your laws - good luck getting 2 million search warrants and convincing LEOs that the law abiding, tax paying citizens of yesterday, are now the criminals of today because they refuse to give up their rights.

Sorry to be "that guy," but I'm serious....when do we draw the line and say, you know what, cross it and you won't like what you get in return?

Yes, we have the courts, MSI, NRA, SAF, but for the most part (besides MSI), those institutions step in after the shit has already hit the fan. My point is simply, when do we look them in the eyes and say, "I dare you..."

I think we are off to a great start making our voices heard, but I feel like we need to be more direct and firm in our stances, even more so than we are now, and make it clear that attempts to circumvent or rights will not be tolerated. The emails being sent out daily are absolutely great and personally, I feel the shorter, the better.

The government should fear the people, the people should not fear their government....

I will not be fingerprinted like some sex offender nor will I pay a fine, fee, or tax to keep the objects I already own and have purchased legally.
It's not my fault homicidal nutcases like to kill people in gun-free zones.
I will not be blamed, I will not be punished, and I will not cooperate with any unconstitutional new gun bans or gun control laws.
    It's really that simple.

    I already drew my line

The Doctrine of the Three Percent.
The Three Percent are the folks the Founders counted on to save the Republic when everyone else abandoned it.

    And we will.

There will be no more free Wacos and no more free Katrinas.

For we are the Three Percent.

    We will not disarm.

    You cannot convince us.

    You cannot intimidate us.

You can try to kill us, if you think you can.

But remember, we’ll shoot back .

    We are not going away.

We are not backing up another inch.

And there are THREE MILLION OF US.

    Your move, Mr. Wannabe Tyrant.

    Your move.

    What is a "Three Percenter"?
During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King's tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. They were in turn actively supported by perhaps 10% of the population. In addition to these revolutionaries were perhaps another 20% who favored their cause but did little or nothing to support it. Another one-third of the population sided with the King (by the end of the war there were actually more Americans fighting FOR the King than there were in the field against him) and the final third took no side, blew with the wind and took what came.

Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested. We DO claim that we represent at least 3% of American gun owners, which is still a healthy number somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million people. History, for good or ill, is made by determined minorities. We are one such minority. So too are the current enemies of the Founders' Republic. What remains, then, is the test of will and skill to determine who shall shape the future of our nation.

The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any futher circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders' Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.

We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption. We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril. To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone. Or, if you feel froggy, go ahead AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

I agree completely, I just wonder how we can be even more effective than we are now. More or less, how do we compete on "their level," and spread the propaganda like they do? We obviously don't have the media on our side and I often wonder about the efficacy of social media - it's better than nothing, but it's not the nightly news.

Honestly, we need to all copy and paste what you just said and email it once a day, everyday, to everyone in the statehouse. Repetition is a powerful.

Better yet, when do we say, "f**k the rules," and hold an open carry in Annapolis with 10,000 Marylanders armed with AR-15s, AKs, etc. Pretty sure at that point the local LEO would have no choice but to just observe and hope nothing goes wrong (not that it's on the same level, but basically how Ravens fans broke through the road blocks and the cops had no choice but to keep a watchful eye on the players and their escorts).

Keep in mind what your sheriff said on Wednesday in Annapolis at the hearing. He supports you. He supports all of us. Your sheriff is not going to recognize or enforce blatantly unconstitutional law.

IMO the line as already been drawn, now just comes the level of fight. The ball is in their court on how far do they want to go, the more levels they go up the more support they will loose from their supporters...it is up to them, I am willing to go all the way if that is what it takes. I will not just sit back with my head in the sand and let them have their way.

I think the line has already been drawn, if we were to give now it would be damn near impossible to reclaim control. But we will not give in, we will not sit idly by and do what we are told by a corrupt government. We will stand unified and fight back, we will fight at the town halls, we will fight at the hearings, we will fight at the voting booths. If we cant beat them at their own rigged game we will still fight my whatever means necessary, we will not just roll over and take the easy way out and concede. We may not have the media or 100% of the public support but we still have the heart and soul that makes this country great and we will fight with every last breath we have. They will not take our guns, they will not burn our constitution and they will not defeat the American spirit. If they want our guns they will have to "pry them from our cold dead hands" because that's the only way they will get them.

If that doesn't give Obummer a reason to do drone strikes on US soil, I don't know what will.

+1 except If they want our guns they will have to FIND them. I will not register or turn them in or wait for them to knock on my door to take them. There is no point trying to fight 5 or more armed thugs at your door when they come to collect your firearms. Secure your firearms, let them search your house and fight them when the odds are in your favor. No point if we are gunned down, one by one in our door ways, alone trying to defend our families.

Unconstitutional laws are no laws at all.
As a government employee I took an oath years ago to support and defend our constitution just like all government employees including police and military personnel.
That oath does not expire and the day may soon come when the decision will have to be made to take that oath seriously.

I feel comfortable in speaking for the vast majority of young veterans I've served with in both OIF and OEF over the last six years, we won't allow it. I'm now a member of the MDNG, a unit that would likely be used in attempt to in force wide spread gun control. We will not follow such an order. We are without a doubt the most tactically, technically, and combat efficient military in this countries history. We understand that at some point it becomes our obligation to defend the constitution even in opposition to our appointed leadership. The ultimate goals of those dubbed the "gun grabbers" are truly an impossibility with our current LEO's and military units. The majority would condone no such act, this I'm sure of.

certainly not at a friend's or relative's house ... how about a self storage unit, paid in cash 6 months in advanced, how about a self storage place outside of Maryland .... just some ideas ...

I have firearms that are "legal" even under the most unconstitutional laws which I keep at home, but I have long term storage containers ready, including raised grates and silica to move my more valuabe assets out ...

Time will tell, friends. We're going to start seeing real soon in NY and CA where the line is because although many in those states are spineless liberal lemmings, some call it home because they were born or raised there and no amount of addled disarmament legislation will make them turn in their guns or leave their homes. The question then will be how shall the rest of their community and our community react when homes are raided, weapons are seized and fellow citizens killed or imprisoned. Lord knows the media and libs will be busy creating a backstory of how the gun owner was "a loaner" or "religious fanatic" or kept his kids out of school or looked at pornography or wet the bed...
