Why - Do I really need a reason?

I've shot Kimbers, Colts, Rugers, HKs, Walthers, and a hundred other brand of pistol...What's within reach of the bed for middle-of-the-night tactical anti-personnel operational operating operations? My cheap-ass Yugo M57.

Its difficult to pick a favorite, to shoot? My Swede 1896 mauser. I had a Star B that was an great shooter as well. For what it represents, probably my Garand or my M1 Carbine.

    It is a tie:

YES, I know the M1 is not belt fed, but I have other things that are. ;)

I'm going to cheat a little bit. I'll post my favorite handgun and my favorite rifle

    Handgun:
I have some cool German WWII C&R pistols (Sauer 38H, Walther PPK, Mauser HSc), but my favorite is my Argentine Contract "Hartford" Colt 1927:

I put new walnut grips on it and replaced all the springs on it.
It shoots better than me and cycles anything from Golden Sabre to Tula steel-cased. It is so much fun to shoot.

Regarding rifles, I love my Garands, my Finn M39's, and my latest 1903, but if I had to keep only one C&R rifle it would have to be my Swiss K31:

It's not a great picture but I'm too lazy to take more right now. It came with an original sling, cleaning kit and a bayo with matching serial #'s. It also has the troop tag under the butt plate. I put a Nikon 4X14 Buckmaster scope on a Swiss Products no-tap aluminum mount on it and it is scary accurate with GP-11 ammo. That ammo is almost too pretty to shoot.
