Not C&R (probably could have been if they would let us import the real deals as some are certainly over 50 years old) but I checked one off today. May be a CAI rebuild but everything in it looks very well done. Sure a few nicks here and there but very clean and came with a ton of accessories. Insanely light, just a hair more than an M1 carbine

I may have to have a second one of these if they stay cheap.

I think people are reading the "current threads list" and then blasting away.
I earlier mentioned something from Italy and Japan but I'll go along with the mentioned "goo deal" item if it pops up. I would also like an M38 or M44 but it will have to be a gun show find cause I want to know what I'm buying and want something with a clean bore and little to no muzzle wear.

Sometime after I get my tax return and finally recover from this house purchase deal I will be sending away for my C&R license. Shortly after that I can only assume most of my side money or extra cash will somehow turn into wood and steel of some sort :D

You really should cave on the 35.00 now, it's good for three years. That's less than one transfer fee to an FFL.
An un-passable deal could come along and you'll be kicking yourself for not having it.
