If talking battle rifles I have two, a DSA FAL and PTR G3 clone.

I shoot better with the G3, mags are cheap, easy to disassemble and clean.

The FAL is easier to clean, more ergonomic, also easy to take apart.

For these two it would be a toss up, for now I would choose the G3 mainly because I shoot better with it. However I hope to buy improved sights for the FAL so then I will shoot better with it.

But if I am out and about it will be either my AK or VZ.

How about recommending some slings? I have a single-point bungee sling on my Saiga conversion. Two of my ARs are on single-point slings, as well as my 11-87 Shotgun. The other two ARs and the Mini-14 are on two point slings. Carrying a rifle by hand can get tiring. I've got a VTAC on my 5.56 SPR, and an MI sling on my 6.8 SPR. Still looking for a better sling for my Mini-14 with ATI folding stock.

Sniper Rifles are also good for dispatching Hostile Guys with EBRs from a very long distance.. But they lack the firepower that is needed for when you miss and the enemy gets closer.

Depends on your idea of a 'Sniper Rifle' ;)

Remove the scope & bipod, attach the RDS and the rifle weighs less than a stock M1A does - it's just more accurate, with less recoil, and can use 25 round magazines.

That Rig fits more in the DMR category. ( Sniper rifle... strictly talking accurized Boltguns/ scoped rifle, although the HK PSG-1, Galil/ Galatz some AR10s fit that category.)
