I have both the M&P and the Colt, the M&P seems a little "plasticy" to me.

Haven't handled or shot the others.

EF, just realized the posing of the question (this is a little like a Baltimore Sun poll!)

Disregard one vote for the Colt. :sad20:

    H&K=overpriced
Mossberg&umarex=would not even call it a copy. Bolt catch is for looks only and a little difficult to disassemble for servicing.
S&W 15-22= the only true ar copy I've seen, functional bolt catch and interchangeable parts from other ar platform.

mossberg a really poor copy of an ar.

Absolutely, I've heard it been called the "Ru Paul of the gun world" here before, lol!

In all fairness, its barrel, bolt, and receiver are the same as the Model 702, which is a great bargain rifle, just without the plastic AR clading found wrapped over the Model 715.

I'd have to agree with the Mossberg, but I think its a shame that Colt would let their name be put on what is probably next to last.

Yikes.. That picture hurts my soul.

I have a 1522 and I love it. I have never heard one good thing about the Mossberg. In my mind "cheap" is not always a good adjective.

There are several that are pretty sad.

I looked around and tried abunch before I settled on the Sig Sauer 522. A fantastic SA 22LR rifle that won hands down. Pretty accurate with open sights, red dot, and scope. I cannot decide which I prefer.

In addition to the great quality, another plus is it does not use proprietary (and more expensive) magazines like most other 22LR AR-type rifles. It takes the generics, like the Black Dog mags. You can buy the Black Dog X-Form mag with stainless steel top feeder for $20. They're extremely durable and available in 15 and 25 round capacity.

    This thing:

I had to vote for the Mossberg, even though I do own one. Wife got it for me recently. It is fine for the kids to shoot, but will be getting a 15/22 for myself soon.
