if moco doesn't have the ammo law, gilbert would be a really popular range...For the occasional shooter that doesn't want to pay $365/year just to get fair ammo prices, gilbert's not the place.

I'd rather drive all the way out to MSAR (even though i hate their range). Normally, I just drive up to frederick's cresap rifle range during their public hours. I live like 10 minutes from gilberts, but their policies and prices drives me away each time.

I've been there every weekend for the past 4-5 weeks and it's been either busy to extremely busy each time. The busiest being thanksgiving weekend. My buddy and I had to wait 20-25 minutes just to check-in. Shot for almost an hour, then another 25 minutes to check out. Thank God I only got a month membership. I'll be joining the IWL Rockville(Gaithersburg) chapter so I can use my own ammo.

I agree with the inefficient and slow staff comments.

Which Gilberts are you talking about the one in Rockville or the one that changed it's name to Sharpshooters in Lorton.
