I am never able to catch that mold in stock.Though it may be time for a thread dedicated to the casters..
Ran the NOE 310-225 RN again today and HTC coated the resulting boolits.. Did some with PC first run, so we will see how they compare in performance shortly.

Any luck?Oh, I just threw a beetlespin on 4 pound test though the ice looking for some pickerel.
I opted for a 3 cav aluminum mold. I'd have preferred a 4 cav brass, but this pours good boolits so far. It was cold yesterday so it cooled quickly and was ready for more. I usually pause to let it cool once it starts getting a little too hot and then remelt the sprue, scrap and add more lead to the pot.I am never able to catch that mold in stock.
I do the dry tumble powder coat and it works fine, as long as it isn't real humid. It works better in low humidity.
