Weirhauch HW50S In The House!

They are the same sights I used on my CZ452 when I shot the score for sniper at an Appleseed match when they first started the program. Great sights but my eyes need scopes now.

I have a 452 as well! That was always my main “trainer” prior to this 50S. Now that I can achieve 452 accuracy with a pellet rifle, I’m ready to rock!!

Thanks for the sight info! I didn't know about that one, seems reasonable priced also.

I also prefer a peep like that.

I love a peep sight. It makes shooting a lot more fun to me. Especially as I see the center get more white with each passing shot. It’s a super fun combo. Highly recommend peeps!

This set-up allows me a VERY similar sight picture as my Sharps.

Don't knock the Gamo. I have written quite a lot on different forums about my surprise after getting a Gamo Wildcat Whisper. Extremely accurate and not sensitive to hold, it only took a little trigger tweaking and it was making dime size holes at 25 yards. Best of all, it uses inexpensive Crosman Premier pellets.

Did some shooting yesterday and set my camera up for it. Between that, squeezing in a last date with my bride, and editing, I didn’t quite finish the video edits. I should be finished with the video portion and just need to add some background music. It came out a little long in the tooth. Round about ten minutes of chit chat, group shooting, and blasting some sea shells. I’ll embed the video once complete and YouTube finalizes the upload in HD. Thanks you guys, and Merry Christmas!

Man alive it’s been cold here, too! There was all this slippery stuff on the ground down here lately. I think I remember that it’s called ice, from my time in MD!

Just my luck. By the time I get to move to Florida, it'll be cold down there and warm up here.

I think it was high 30’s low 40’s when I was shooting. A far cry from Christmas last year…I was in shorts and I think this time a year ago I was sitting by a pool. Not in per se, but lounging lol.

I did have to re-adjust the ole Williams for the colder weather.

I only shoot my break barrel in the basement in cold weather as the POI changes in the cold and I don't want to re zero the scope.

That’s one of my concerns with glass in general. It’s already natural for me to re-align the rear to a shift in impact from other platforms I enjoy. I find glass can sometimes be a little too “fiddly” if you’re not hitting where your hairs are aligned. Irons for me? Heck we can get it close enough every time and take advantage of a little Kentucky windage.

The fella I bought my Shiloh from always sets his sight staff back to “zero” when finished shooting for the day. I always keep a rough idea of how many minutes are needed at various ranges, but every shooting solution is different day to day!

The ole glass vs irons debate…I gotta tell ya, at almost 32 years of age, I’ll argue irons all day! Put another couple decades on these eyes and I’ll be glass bound permanently!
