Cancer sucks, glad he's in remission, no way to prove petro products caused it.
My grandfather worked for 40 years in a body shop filled with body filler dust, paint fumes, and all kinds of nastiness. One of his employees died in his early 50s. They said it was his profession. My grandfather is alive and kicking strong at 81 now.
Point is, you can't always pinpoint the cause of an ailment and universally apply it to everyone. I.E. if you work around noxious fumes you will die early. If you handle petro products with bare skin you will get cancer.
Stuff just happens. Next thing you know someone will blame their cancer on McDonald's bc the have a sausage egg mcmuffin every morning...
