Looks nice, but why no rail covers? I personally am not a fan of the cheese grater that is a rail system without some covers (but I like having rails). Other than my personal tastes I like what you built quite a bit.

There are covers on there...they're black Ergo ladder covers that came with the upper.:thumbsup:

Great job building a sweet rifle. As far as the GF pic, I for one appreciate your rogue move away from the tradition of feet in rifle pictures. I hope you've started a new trend.

Nice build!! :party29: Just curious on what brand and grain ammo you was using, and how was accuracy?

I was using Federal XM193 5.56 55gr rounds. Accuracy was pretty good. I zeroed with irons at 50 yards and got a pretty good group. Didnt really do much bench/accuracy testing that day...the shooting we were doing was a bit more dynamic.

The only downside to Warpig's build is standing next to him when that Battlecomp starts singing! That thing is insane.

Felt like it was gonna make my nose bleed ;)

    Quick Update:

My broke ass finally saved up some money to get a quality optic on top...I decided to get the Aimpoint PRO,which was within my budget.

I approve... nice build, quality components all around. I don't have anything to say about the DPMS receiver extension, good or bad... I personally use Vltor, but that's me.

Everything else there is unquestionably good to go.

Now go shoot the crap out of it and lube it with Slip 2k!

How do you like the PRO? I've been considering an aimpoint (currently have an eotech on another gun) and wanted to spend less than a Micro or a CompM4.

Nice build man, very nice, and double that to the video. I should be getting my new rifle probably sometime this month, me and you gotta hit the range! :D
