I can't imagine that would be the case based on a label. I embrace the concept of this effort to stop reselling, I just doubt it will have any impact at all.

WM uses these on items they specifically are having issues with theft on. Resellers are not WM problem for 1 very simple reason...

WM already made the sale.

They could care less what happens to it after the monetary transaction.

I remember that Wal-Mart did this back when the great gun rush of '08 happened (the first time Obummer was elected). I remember seeing hundreds of ammo boxes, with this sticker, for sale at the Chantilly gun show.

Internal theft. WM employee hides boxes until friend comes in. Standard transaction occurs. Friend resells and employee split profit. Mattress police will put him to sleep.
