Virginia EMS Education Coordinator
The Commonwealth Criminal Justice Academy in Fredericksburg, Va. has openings for full time & part time EMS Education Coordinator based on the volume of training programs. Responsibilities include teaching and coordinating Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support initial certification and continuing education training programs.
The EMS Education Coordinator also works as part of the team to establish and maintain program accreditation.
Starting salary: Based on Experience
Summary of Job Requirements: Virginia EMS Education Coordinator endorsement, minimum Virginia Intermediate in good standing with the Virginia Office of EMS, Paramedic preferred; AHA BLS instructor and/or instructor potential is preferred but not required; ACLS, PALS, ITLS, and PEPP instructor and/or instructor potential is preferred; documented experience and/or current certification in adult education may be a substitute for some educational requirements; valid Virginia driver’s license with good driving record.
