I picked this up today, best guess........ 1950's and my research says it has a maple center. It's REALLY stout, I have no way of knowing the actual pull but it measures 64 inches overall. EDUCATE ME if you can.
Produced in 1957 fiberglass with maple core, the weights varied from 30-60+lbs. Start with a 59 1/2 -60" 16 strand bowstring. This should give you about a 71/2" brace. I use dacron B-50 string for 90% of my traditional equipment. Hope this helps
It looks like a "takedown " bow I got from my father, which was gifted to him from his father. Call Ben Pearson for the specifics. They are very nice about these questions. They even sent me a hat and other stuff.

It helps... turns out someone told me elsewhere it does NOT have maple core and it's 45 lbs @ 28 inches That part is actually etched on the butt. As far as the maple goes.... I'm at a loss.
It will still kill a deer no doubt!
