Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment, the Chief RINO, backed down and apologized for selling out last night (for the sellout, see WaPo article in post #17, above):

From the USNews article linked above in post #28:

    12:35 p.m.

Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment says he's spiking his gun-control legislation, only a day after proposing to ban guns in all government buildings statewide.

“Norment's statement says he'll ask that Senate Bill 4013 be stricken in committee, because "as currently drafted, the legislation represents neither my views nor my intention."

He says he won't support "any measure that restricts the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens."

The reversal comes after Senate GOP majority whip Bill Stanley resigned to protest Norment's bill. Norment then apologized to his caucus and moved to reinstate Stanley to his key leadership post. Stanley was the only one of his Republican colleagues to vote against himself.”

Well. That was fun. Sorry to not cross paths with you Haveblue. At least toes and fingers did not need thawing out this time.

I tangled with Senator Tommy Norment, now the Virginia Senate Majority Leader, beginning in 2010 when, as a member of VCDL, I confronted Norment with his record of voting against pro-gun bills as a Republican.

A former Democrat, he is a lying slime ball who likes to go to chic Williamsburg cocktail parties with Democrats and usually sports pink ties and pink shirts.

    Read this and weep:

Well. That was fun. Sorry to not cross paths with you Haveblue. At least toes and fingers did not need thawing out this time.

Me too! Unfortunately, I've been home sick with a fever for several days. I'm doubly disappointed because Mrs. Blue was planning to go to Richmond with me this time.

    Stay Safe,

Wow, what a great day. Beautiful weather in Richmond, the enemies of freedom and liberty were beaten back and we got to spend it with several thousand heavily armed Patriots.

Here are two of our faves, Gary Siglar with the MD Militia and Christian Yuengling of the PA Lightfoot Militia.

I always get a tinge of envy when I see R&R sporting his vintage 66 nestled in some fine custom basketweave leather.

Another big thank you to all those Patriot Picket members and MDS Minutemen who traveled to Richmond, at the end of a great day for Virginia Liberty.

A huge shout-out is due to Phil Van Cleave and the Virginia Citizens Defense League for the amazingly intense full-court press organizing effort the VCDL put on to stop the gun bills at the Special Session today.

The VCDL has worked around-the-clock since Gov. Blackface Northam announced he was calling the VA General Assembly back today for more useless and disrespectful Democrat virtue-signaling and showboating for the news and social media.

The VCDL recognized the extreme danger to the gun rights of all Virginians and used every resource they had — web sites, social media, memes, YouTube videos, online meetups, member meetings statewide, pre-rally dinners, press interviews, TV commercials, sidewalk demonstrating, personal lobbying — VCDL did not falter.

Thank you Virginia Citizens Defense League!
