Somehow I posted this in the reloading section by accident. Anyway, I am trying to get a range of the value(what to ask)of these combos:

One is a Penn black and gold 8500ss reel on a 6' Ugly stick...
the other is a Penn rod and a silver Penn104 reel.

I really don't feel like surfing the net to find similar setups to compare in price. I have a vague idea of value but don't want to over price or under price. What's a good price to ask? Ballpark figure.

The penn 104 has little value and the rod is ok but I'd pay up to $100 for the 8500SS. Those reels are quality reels made in USA unlike the current Penn SSm reels which are made in China. I have every size from 5500-9500SS's and a few of the smaller ones.

Like said above me. I hVe bought penn 103, 104, and 105 reels for $1-$10. They all work great but people do not seem to want them for some reason. I have seen beat to hell 850ss series reels sell for $30-40 so it is worth a bit more. The penn rod is Maby $20. These prices is what I have seen.
