No UT requires a UT specific course. VA allows an online video course as acceptable training.
Not saying it’s a good thing but it’s legal in VA.

Like the old one by MSP before you could buy a gun?
A little foggy on VA, here. Their state police web site says they honor other states' permits (provided you have it on you, with ID, etc). What if your out of state (say, MD) permit has been issued with restrictions? Does VA follow MD's limitations for that permit holder, or ... ? I know, not expecting legal advice and whatnot. But that issue wasn't explicitly addressed on the VA state police web site. Thanks in advance, if anyone has some secret special knowledge.
Where can I go in the Annapolis area to get fingerprints done for the VA nonresident permit? I noticed the VASP web page now says that private agencies that are acting on the behalf of a police agency are acceptable, so are there any commercial providers in the area?
Yep they will return it
VA has no idea what the UT requirements are .
Better attach your training certificate.
Didn't your instructor give you a completion certificate?
did you send them the original?
no copy?
