Just got my Utah permit in the mail last night. Sent it in April 29th. Too bad Maryland is not that quick. Sent my MD renewal in March 29th and still no MD permit.

Did you interview with MSP yet? The SGT told me it would be approximately 30 more days after I went for my interview.

This is my third renewal with MSP. They have never re-interviewed me on any other renewal. Last one I waited six months for the new permit then had to email them to see where it was. Got it three days after the email.

The renewal should not take so long; really the initial permit should not take so long. MD is out of control; I have read somewhere "a person should not be compelled to give a reason to exercise a right established under the United States Constitution." Up yours to the liberal idiots in Maryland!!!!

One thing is sure about the Utah permit; if you are a law abiding citizen then you will get the permit

I joked with the instructor that I hadn't had my prints taken since I was a child in kindergarten when the county police were at our 2nd grade job fair, lol.

My online renewal took 9 days from submission to the permit in my mailbox.

    Wow.

No new prints, no paperwork, no BS

If it took 6 months, didn't your permit expire before you received the new one(renewal)?
