Utah Non-Resident Concealed Firearm Permit Class

This is a CLASSROOM ONLY course. At the end of the class you will have everything needed to apply for your Utah non-resident permit: fingerprint card, 2x2 passport type photos, and the application. The applications are sent via FEDEX to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification on the next business day to insure prompt processing and certified confirmation of delivery.
You will receive a Certificate of Training after successful completion of the course. This certificate can be used as proof of training as required for a Virginia resident and non-resident Concealed Handgun Permit. Each student also receives a CD with all class materials.
The cost of the course is $ 75.00. The fee will cover the class, class materials (hand-outs & CD), fingerprinting, photos and FedEx shipment of the applications. Utah will require you to pay a $51.00 fee to the state of Utah for your permit application which is in addition to the class fee. The Utah permit is valid for 5 years and renewal is only $15.00. No additional training is required for the renewal.
We also provide a copy of the MARYLAND STATE POLICE REGULATED FIREARMS COLLECTOR APPLICATION AND AFFIDAVIT MSP 29-56 (7-08) and a notary on site in case you want to apply for the Maryland Designated Collector status ( allows you to buy more than one regulated firearm without have to wait 30 days).
In addition to the course fee, you will need to bring a separate credit card or check payment per applicant in the amount of $51.00 . This amount satisfies the background and application fees required by Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification. For additional information visit the Utah BCI website http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci .
What is included:
Training services provided by B&S Personal Safety And Firearms Education, LLC. The course fee of $75 per person includes the fingerprinting, quality passport photos, document copying, shipping and handling to Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (aka Utah BCI or BCI). Attendees will receive a printed copy of the PowerPoint presentation along with the minimum training curriculum document as issued by Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification and a CD with electronic copies of the same plus related public domain articles and targets. We can also process your Maryland Designated Collector Application while attending the class.

If you were born outside of the U.S. you must include your Alien Registration Number or INS Registration Number on your application and fingerprint card, or include a copy of your U.S. issued born abroad birth certificate. A copy of a valid U.S passport will also be accepted for proof of citizenship if born outside the US. Please be sure to bring this information with you or your application will be delayed.
