    Hello to all,

    It's that time of month again.

    The next scheduled match for MPSA at Thurmont is for Sunday, July 31.

    Setup will be on Saturday, July 30 at 9 AM. There are limited slots for setup.

    There will only be one relay on Sunday starting at 10 this is the START time, please arrive sufficiently ahead of your relay to sign in and gear up. Stragglers will be scolded.

    This is a regular match. There will be 5 stages plus a classifier.

    NEW SHOOTERS: If you are new to USPSA (IPSC), that is you have not shot a club level match before and have not taken our safety course or the ones given by Jeff Hoge or Paul Mason, you MUST take the safety course during the day of the match (club rules). Once checked out, you will be able to shoot at the next match. Send email for more details.

    If you want to be squadded with a particular person or persons, let me know with your email signup.

    Some of you have new USPSA numbers and expiration dates, some have new classifications or will be shooting in new divisions. I am asking that EVERYONE please provide:

    full name
    USPSA # and expiration date
    division (open, limited, limited10, production, revolver, Single Stack)
    class (new, unclassified, D, C, B, A, M, GM)
    power factor (Major/minor)
    email address
    evening/weekend phone number
    squadding requests
    relay (Sat setup, Sunday 10)
    are you a TCSC member?

    Incomplete info may delay your registration and cause you to lose your slot...

    There are a few slots for walk-on open for Sunday. Send me a PM if you are going so I can keep track. I will post if all the walk-on slots are filled. I suggest your get to the range by 9:00am.

    Great match although it was windy. The river rose way above its banks, the Rifle Range was underwater by at least 10 feet in some areas!

    Negative, I did not take the pics, I just saw them on the MPSA page. I now know why the shooting benches are made out of steel and concrete!

    By the way, I just got a notice from the match director that there is room for walk-on for the match. I guess the holiday weekend has affected the sign up rate.

    I had a great time helping set up and shooting up there today. The stages were challenging and that was a lot of fun. The facility is top notch and my fellow shooters made me feel right at home.
