    Hi all,

I did a small "mod" to my reloading press. I saw some people install LEDs on their presses so they can see better. I figured, why don't I just install a camera?

Here is my ghetto install of a USB endoscope. I simply plug in the scope into a netbook that I am laying around and here it is.

I used wire ties.. I might change it to something more sturdy later on.

There are LEDs built into the head of the endoscope to provide lighting.

    Not so good double charge

This setup will allow me to have a better view of each charge. I would still verify the charge on the scale every 5 rounds.

That all looks really cool, But I just either sit on a tall bar stool or stand and I see everything fine. Does your Lee press come with a audible powder check die ? And why do you feel the need to stop loading every five rounds and measure your powder ?

Unfortunately it's just a Lee Pro 100 with the regular powder through die.

I am really new at reloading.. so I don't trust the powder drop yet. And I am also somewhat OCD about weighing everything.

Nice, sharp photos!!! I like the idea.

I'm getting to the point where I am needing more and more light in the room.

Having one of those 'scopes' set-up to REALLY SEE what's going on is a good idea.:thumbsup:

Where can I get one of those scopes?????

    I've got a desktop pc set-up in my loading room, w/ a 21" monitor.

This is the one I bought off amazon.

I plugged it into my Windows 7 and XP and the driver loaded automatically. Just use the app on the CD or your own webcam app to access the webcam.

There is a small wheel on the usb plug to adjust the brightness of the LEDs as well.

Kinda figured I can use this for the press or if I ever need to clean drains in my house. :lol2:
