    Is this legal? Just trying to make sure. Looking to pickup a unregulated rifle via a FTF transaction in PA from a PA Resident. Me being a MD resident.

    I found info on a store purchase is no issue, but wasn't sure on FTF.

    interstate = ffl required

    you can only do ftf (unregulated and long guns) if both (seller and buyer) are from state.

    (somebody will correct me on this).

    edit: ok.. somebdy beat me to it.. haha

    There are 2 exceptions to this:

    1. Muzzleloading firearms.
    2. Antique firearms (manufactured 12/31/1898, or earlier.)

    These are exempt from federal regulations regarding interstate transfers (state regulations still may apply.)

    These probably don't apply in your particular situation, but I thought it might be worth mentioning anyway.
