Moron owner used AW to describe Modern Sporting Rifles. If we can't get past using the W word for civilian firearms then maybe there shouldn't be civilian firearms. I have all kinds of firearms in many modern configurations and not one of them has ever been a WEAPON.

PP&G wanted $1800 for a plain jane Bushmaster back in early December when I was in there and they were selling loose .223 for $0.75/round with a max of 75 or 100 rounds...juuuuust a little pricey. Nice people, but expensive.

Because the panic buying streak may lessen now that pending bans are not on the horizon. But that's only looking at the federal level. I expect Maryland's gun sales to keep rocketing so long as MOM keeps pushing for AWB.

No the answer is to make weapon a non loaded term. Police use weapons and so do law abiding citizens. For the same basic purposes. Self defense is a natural right. If you start playing Or

That ship has already sailed. Weapon is the perjorative term, and they are defined as something used for defensive or combative purposes. Firearms can be used in such a fashion, but you don't buy them specifically to harm others. Police use them in a singular fashion, btw--unlike civilian owners.
