It's a west Hurley gun so I believe it is a later repro of the WWII guns made in 85-86. They are designated C&R MGs. One stamp for Machinegun.

I'm not sure if a short barreled MG needs a stamp for the barrel or not....

That's exactly the type of thompson I'm saving for but I'm aiming for a WWII savage.

MG trumps SBR, so a MG is one $200 stamp and any barrel length is fine.

Yes. A GI or vintage commercial Thompson would cost a lot more.

It's Origional in that it was f mfg that way vs parts kit. Just not WWII vintage.

Last GI one I saw was $45k and that was 2 years ago. $15,000 isn't much in the Class III world, I think someone got a deal (wouldn't want to feed it $$$$!)
