I moved to central Maryland a few years ago from another state. Don't know if it is legal or not legal to meet someone from the forum or another firearms forum who has good feedback with the thought of trading. No idea if exchanging drivers license number and signing from both people along with serial numbers is ok or not. What do you think?

Thanks Very much! Now I will see who has better transfer fees in central MD. Is it same for shotguns?

Shotguns are considered a non-regulated firearm (no SBS's, obviously), and do not have to be transferred through an FFL or MSP. A face to face transaction is sufficient for all non-regulated firearms, provided that both parties are legally able to own the firearm. Usually just a bill of sale and a copy of the drivers license are the only precautions. I suppose you don't even HAVE to take those steps.

College park state police barricks. I've done three there.

Leave it locked up in the trunk. 10 bucks and seven days later you too can be not disapproved.
