Today at Delmarva sporting clays

Went down there to let the wife shoot her new to her S&W .38 and I took my Mosin with me as well as a couple others toy's.
The Mosin seems to be a pretty popular gun, I shot a round or 2 off and notice people looking, then after a few minutes a guy aproachs me and say's mines an upgraded version of sorts and then shows his Mosin then another guy had 2 which he had just installed a long view scope and was sighting it in.
it was just a fun day to be at the range.

So you shot sporting clays with a Mosin?

Same thing happens to me everytime I bring my Mosin out there. One time another guy had a Mosin and we talked about what year and factory we had on the receiver and about what ammo shoots the best out of it. Another time I had a woman come up to me and ask me if it was a musket!
