Hey AGC Action Shooters!
It's that time of year again and we will be starting (every other) Thursday Night practices this week 5/20! Due to the ammo crunch that we are all feeling, we are going to restructure the practices this year. The focus will be on the fundamentals and weapon manipulations (dry starts, mag changes, etc). These nights will not require a bunch of ammo, roughly 30 rounds per gun you want to bring. You are welcome to bring as much as you want, but the focus will be on weapon handling not turning money into noise.
Another change to Thursday nights is that we will not be focusing on any one specific gun per night, so bring just one or all three. You can even throw in a rimfire rifle/pistol if you like. We will add or change the stages based on what you bring. If you have shotgun ammo but are running low on rifle ammo, try some quad loads on the clock. Did you just buy a case of pistol ammo and just want to focus on your split times? We can set up a stage to focus on whatever the group wants to do.
Thursday Night practices are open to the public and are a great way to introduce your non badge holder friends to the AGC. There is no pre registration and everything is pretty low key.
All we ask is the following:
-AGC Badge Holders bring $5 for to help us pay for consumables. Non Badge Holders please bring $10
-If you can, then please be on time for the first safety briefing at 5:30 along. There will be a follow up for those who can not make it that early.
-If you can, please get there around 4:45 to help with set up.
-Please stick around to help clean up (if possible). We normally wrap things up between 7 and 8.
