Ok I've been thinking I need a threaded barrel revolver. Just about every firearm I have was bought witha threaded barrel. Quick search really only comes up with pics of older Mosin revolvers. Do any of you guys that have been at this longer than I have, have any pics of your threaded barrel revolvers? Suggestions for the best revolver to thread would be good. Does anyone sell a threaded barrel revolver from the factory?

And even that depends on how well the mechanism that pushes the cylinder against the forcing cone works to seal the gap. The rule of thumb is that revolvers can't be suppressed, no matter how well it looked in the old TV days when they showed them. There are a few race revolvers with threaded barrels, designed for the use of comps I think. However it is so uncommon most just get their barrels ported instead.

did it once by accident with a 44 magnum

on third or fourth rapid shot, laid it in my left palm with fingers up and about 1-2 inches away

powder burn - little black specks took months to finally come out of my skin

I did this with my dads 357 magnum, after the first shot I realized my stupidity.
Got lucky and just got powder burns.
