I went to the military vehicle and swap meet in Aberdeen today. Had some neat stuff but not many people set up but more people are expected tomorrow. It runs through at least Saturday. Cal Ripken Stadium.

Ended up getting a nice box of unusual spent brass for $8 which was my only purchase.

I saw these on display. One is a STG44 and the other an MP40. He had a sign next to them mentioning they were dug up in Berlin. A few pistol frames were on display too.

Pretty cool! I've always thought that metal detecting in Europe would be one of the best places on earth. Can you imagine how much stuff was dropped or dumped during WWII alone

I subscribe to some YouTube videos of Metal Detecting Europe. There are some great finds and I can sit there all day and watch those wondering why it was dropped or dumped. Many of the videos show the lay of the land where they were found and you can just play out the battle.
