NOT YET!
Patience, grasshopper...
it will be here soon enough...
Cool, you have a 360 degree deck much like I do. The dogs think it's their race track!

So that happens at your house too? Cool!
This is what happens as “east meets west” when our rotten hounds get to running circles. And it’s usually a very loud event...
I thought I'd provide an update on how quickly the weather and seasons can change in Garrett County.
In only 20 days, the suns' setting position has moved significantly south. It's now way past "the trees" vantage point. And it will continue its course until the winter solstice in December.
Fall is a beautiful time of year and begins earlier in the mountains. Its signs are easy to spot. Potted plants begin to lose their stamina and blooming stops. Trees like a butternut start to drop leaves early. Those yellow leaves in the pic of my driveway are the first of zillions from many trees to turn colors, enjoy for a while and then cuss at as we deal with cleaning them up.
And, we all know what comes next. Having lived in this mountain climate for many years we are prepared for it.
Enjoy and stay safe!
So I guess I'll be up in late January again for a Hooligan day. I'll even do the required no jacket picture in the snow.Since I've been updating this thread for several years I thought I'd add to it.
Yep, you guessed it, at my house the sun is setting exactly where it always does on around August 9/10. One of the "trees" is no longer there, but the sun doesn't care. The pic below was taken yesterday. Lots of foliage has grown in over the past couple of years, but I know where Mr. Sun will be in early August.
We can't stop time. The seasons roll on while we're busy living. We all know those leaves will be turning colors pretty soon. Then we'll get to deal with them as we do every autumn. Then...we know what comes next ->
Y'all enjoy what's left of our summer. Stay safe and healthy!

A few weeks ago i was working my arse off down at a jobsite and feeling pretty hot and dehydrated. Somehow thoughts of fall came to mind, and this thread that I look forward to. This morning I remembered it again. It's "That Time" once again...
