My 6.5 2.0. put my baby on a diet, gone is the HEAVY (4.74lb)Ballistic Advantage 22" barrel in is a Christensen Arms 20" Carbon Fiber barrel. Out is the PRS stock in is the Luth AR MB1. I swear this thing weights half as much as it did. Will find out how well she shoots tomorrow.

    Very nice

I feel the similar as I wish it would have a 18" barrel.

The fit in finish though is much better than nearly all other 308 ARs I've seen or owned. It is also a pretty soft shooter...

I agree. Thinking of putting the Lancer Carbon handguard for something different. It always goes bang and like the adjustable gasblock when running surpressed.

Also, what kind of accuracy were you getting from the BA barrel?

Sorry to keep quoting your posts....:innocent0. I just saw that this was your rifle too. Anyway, I presume you have similar accuracy results with the 18" Hanson? Any over-gassing issues?

    My BUG

Not nearly as slick as some of the rifles here, but, hey, it's my first sort-of build. Alpha Shooting Sports upper, Modulus Arms 80% lower & a Nikon P-308 scope.

Not a precision rifle, but at 100 yards it will put 10 rounds very quickly into a very small area.

Now that I know how this works, I'll build a precision (I hope) rifle. The scope on this one will be replaced with a Meprolight Tru-Dot RDS and the BUIS you see sitting on the table. The scope will go on the precision rifle.

I bought this to take over as my hunting rig.

DPMS G2 recon, SSAE trigger, STR stock haven't mounted my suppressor flash hider yet as I wanted to make sure it shoots straight.
Overall pretty happy, it's not that heavy but seemed to prefer heavier bullets vs the 150gr weight.

I put of 20 rounds of various ammo, this is the best group. Definitely minute of deer.

I've got it's heavier brother(lr- 308) and it loves 168gr bullets though I haven't tried any heavier yet.

Yeah, mine is a tank but the heavier stock seemed to bring the weight further back and helps manage it better. She's great off of a bench though. Plus the damn now stock kept ripping out my beard with every shot and it hurt like hell.
